Learn Qigong in Lake Tahoe
FREE Qigong Classes in August and September 2026
**UPDATE** Due to the popularity of this class, free Qigong classes will continue into September! Same time, same place. Check back here for more updates on Qigong class offerings - new dates added are below.
Join Sierra Nevada Hypnotherapy this summer to learn and practice qigong in the beautiful outdoors!
Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice that combines gentle movement, mindful breathing, and meditation to support physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The word "Qigong" means cultivating or developing Qi (vital life energy) through Gong (dedicated practice and skill). With regular practice, qigong can help improve balance, flexibility, relaxation, energy, and overall health while fostering a deeper connection between the body and mind.
Classes may feature Eight Pieces of Brocade (Ba Duan Jin), Shibashi, or Five Elements Qigong, depending on the day. Whether you're completely new to qigong or have been practicing for years, you're welcome to join us! This beginner-friendly class requires no prior experience, and experienced practitioners will enjoy the opportunity to deepen their practice, learn new techniques, and connect with a community of fellow students.
Please RSVP to sierranvhypno@gmail.com or 775-235-8699 so we have an idea of how many people to expect. Last minute attendees are always welcome, so don't worry if you decide to join us on the day of the class. Feel free to bring your family and friends -- everyone is welcome!
